Feature
The first 10 years of the twenty-first century saw a rise in popularity for the logic game NYT SUDOKU. The fundamental example presents a puzzle grid with nine cells on each side to the problem solver. The grid has nine boxes that are further divided into groups of three by three cells. There are boundaries for each box. A few specific digits can already be found in the puzzle grid. The challenge is to fill in all empty cells with numbers between 1 and 9 while adhering to the following restriction:

Every number from 1 to 9 must appear exactly once (and only once) in each row and once (and only once) in each column.
There must be exactly one instance of each number from 1 to 9 in every box.

Ways to play
A 9x9 grid must be filled with numbers in order to finish an NYT SUDOKU puzzle, and each column, row, and 3x3 square must have a number from 1 to 9. At the beginning of the game, certain squares on the 9x9 grid will be filled in. You must logically add the missing digits to the grid to finish it. Keep in mind that an action is wrong if:

Any row can have several occurrences of the same 1 to a 9-digit number.
Any column in the range of 1 to 9 has several occurrences of the same number.
Multiples of the same number can be found in any 33-grid from 1 to 9.
Tips
Once you figure out how to play, NYT SUDOKU is a fun puzzle game. Learning to play this puzzle, however, can be a little frightening for novices. Therefore, if you're just getting started, here are some techniques you can use to improve your NYT SUDOKU skills.

Tip 1: Observe 3x3-section rows and columns that have five or more numbers in them. Go through the remaining empty cells, trying the untapped numbers. You will commonly find numbers that can only be entered in one location if you take into account the other numbers that are already present in the row, column, and 33 grid.

Tip 2: Arrange the grid so that it has three columns and three rows. Each enormous column will have three three-square grids, and each row will have three square grids. Find grids or columns that have two of the same number now. The only remaining 9-cell sector should logically have a third occurrence of the same number. Examine each of the final 9 spaces in an effort to find the missing number.

Now that you know a little bit more about this game, play and enjoy the free online version of it.
